A little more about myself...ever since I can remember I have loved to draw and build. I am one of those creative mechanical types always looking for a chance to get my hands dirty. I grew up playing with blocks in my basement, working alongside my dad in his woodshop, breaking and then fixing things in order to learn how they functioned, and constructing my own creations in all sorts of media and environments. My passion to design coupled with my strength in math and science led me into engineering as soon as I entered Dartmouth where I plan to graduate in 2005 with a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During the coming spring and summer I will be working at Jetboil (a small company in Guild, NH that has developed an innovative outdoor cooking stove) as a product design engineer further developing and expanding their technology. Then, I am looking for a full-time job or an internship beginning in the late summer or early fall continuing in the field of product design.
